I was born in Sweden and my parents were just anti-war in general so I haven't got the "hate the Russians" drilled into me. I was a Finnish citizen until about 16 or 17 and then I felt like I didn't want to do the obligatory 1military training there. Here it was easy to get out of it, I just said "I refuse" and they said angrily "we decide that!" but tqhen I didn't hear anything more from them

To break up countries in parts to prevent any unity. The US has this Grand Strategy plan to maintain US primacy, and "destroying" Russia is part of that plan. Since Israel runs foreign policy in the US they are very much part of that. You have the neocons (which were originally Jewish Trotskyists). Israel also wants to sort of balkanize all Muslim states, or more like throw them into a chaos of internal fighting and poverty so they pose no threat to Israel. "Peace" is the opposite of what they want in the middle east. All this talk of peace and good commercial relations by Trump et al with other countries is not really the truth.

One thing I found interesting when watching interviews of winter war veterans was that there appears to have been unity in protecting the homeland. No one knew anyone who didn't want to go fight, though of course there's always some. I don't know about Finland but here in Sweden basically no one is ready to go to war for Sweden and it's no wonder why; what is there to protect, what values? Protect Arabs and Somalians?
