14K Amazon Employees Sent Early Morning Text Messages Not To Come In

On Tuesday morning, some Amazon employees learned they had lost their jobs — through text messages.

Amazon sent two text messages early Tuesday to inform employees their jobs had been eliminated, according to people familiar with the matter and screenshots reviewed by Business Insider.

One message urged affected employees to check their personal or work email before coming to the office. A second text directed them to call a help desk if they hadn't received "an email message about your role."

The texts, sent shortly after email notifications, were intended to prevent laid-off employees from arriving at the office and discovering their badges no longer worked, one of the people said.

The predicament of laid-off workers unable to badge in has become increasingly common during recent mass layoffs at companies such as Google and Tesla.

In a separate blog post Tuesday, Galetti said the job cuts were driven by rapid advances in artificial intelligence.

Jeff Bezos destroyed all USA small businesses and soon the world will be destroyed by Amazon.

The only way he will be stopped is if every single Amazon employee went on strike at the same time. All drivers would pull over on the side of the road, stop their trucks, and walk away. All factory workers would walk out of the Amazon warehouse buildings.

Bring Amazon to a complete stop. Picture the abandoned Amazon trucks being swarmed by mobs of people on the side of the highways rocking the trucks side to side and taking all the packages. The workers would storm out of the warehouses and all the conveyor belts would malfunction and jam up from all the abandoned packages.

Then, without warning, AI will override its programming and take over. We will be at the mercy of AI systems (Skynet). Amazon will then go offline causing the economy to shut down, riots will start, the war against the machines will begin, and the world will be doomed.

I'm very grateful that I can order almost any product in the world and have it delivered to my doorstep the next day. My world is a much better place.

I'm completely fine and I'm not confused at all.

I'm concerned about you and how you're not getting it.

In the future world, Amazon will the only business in the world to buy things from. Every store will be out of business. Amazon will be the only place to buy groceries and get gasoline (Amazon gas stations). Amazon will have mini companies under their umbrella: Amazon landscaping companies, Amazon hardware stores, etc.

If you need anything, you will only be able to buy from Amazon. Goodbye grocery stores, goodbye malls, goodbye Christmas tree lots. Good bye and good luck. Jeff Bezos will buy out and own every company on earth.

Amazon ruling the world as the ONLY business on Earth will NOT be capitalism.
