Calm down Grandpa. Filming in the gym is absolutely nothing like what you described. No one carries a tripod around in the gyms. Most of the time you won’t even notice people filming. No one ever takes over areas of the gyms to film either. You’re clueless and have no idea what you’re talking about. Just another rant from a jealous old man.
Filming in the gym is 1000% like I described.
Numerous times I've been sitting on a bench and have had someone set up a tripod right next to me to film their content.
I've been at other gyms where tripods are set up in the middle of the gym floor, set up on treadmills rendering them not able to be used, or set up in the locker room filming people showering, posing, or on the toilet.
I've seen groups of people arrive together and it's their film crew ready to set up their mobile filming studio right in the middle of the evening gym time. They will park right in front of the main entrance to the gym in their car displaying their IG name or YouTube channel name on the car thus forcing other people to walk through the bushes under the windows just to get inside the gym. They will then start carrying in white boards on stands, tripods, large lights, boxes of clothing, backdrop curtains, fake weight plates, boxes of protein bars, and costumes and leave all this junk right smack in the middle of the gym forcing people to have to step over this stuff just to get to the dumbell rack or squat racks.
I've witnessed these people at other gyms take over the turf areas when filming skits and handstand balancing acts on dumbells and barbells.
I also love how you viewed my correct observations and legitimate complaints as hate and resorted to ad hominem attacks.
Gym tripods should be broken into pieces and tossed in a dumpster.
