What happened to the Rock'nRoll wild child, David Dearth? Is he still in the industry? Last I heard he had gout in 96.

I saw him at the Ironman and he looked like he was ready to keil over. He was fat, looked like he had a blank stare and his head was shaved with just a little long hair in front of his head!!

If you consider that alive then I guess he is!

He looks like a typical female bodybuilder would look now. If you told me that was the reigning Ms. Olympia I wouldn't give it another thought. Hell, he may even look more feminine than a lot of the current crop.

He got back into near contest shape just a couple years ago. But Mr. Intenseone is right. He is now VERY fat (like 100+ pounds overweight). He just looks like an obese guy.

Actually they say you are addicted to various things, namely meth and crack as I recall. Based on your previous behaviour you are mentally unstable and whether or not that is due to drugs or just good old fashioned mental illness I don't know. Why don't you clear the air?

I'd venture to say that perhaps his spirit was simply passed on to another spiritual torch-bearer. Bodybuilding has yet to, and will never see the end of the "Rock 'n Roll Wildchild's" token brand of rebellion.

What are you saying here?

That he was just another in a long list of male bodybuilders who enjoyed beating up their girlfriends and doing a lot of recreational drugs and especially enjoyed combining the two? And that this behavior is endemic to bodybuilding in general with many men sampling these delights?

Is that what the sport is now missing and we should all look forward to it's return?
