Homo sapiens clearly did not evolve to hang around for so long... for most of recorded history life expectancy at birth was around 30 years, notably started rising in England in the beginning of the 19th century to around 40, then around 60 by the mid 1950s.

It seems striking to me that we can ponder questions such as age related strength decline that only became apparent when we started living longer.

27 is indeed the age when most if not all lose that fresh glow of glory. They fade into stale bread look after, one day at a time

27 is prime age for bbing

Life expectancy vs life span

Yes, it's gradually downhill from there, that glow of excellence goes stale. It's like the factory paint of a car that starts to lose its fresh sparkles

Arnold was at his prime at that age.

When does Palumboism start to increase? Around 35?

Depends on the amount of drug use.

That's the meaning of prime, it's downhill from there

Most can stay at their peak until around 30. Everyone after 35 is in rapid decline.

I guess homo sapiens didn't evolve to create medicine, a steady food supply, indoor plumbing, soap, etc. That must have been a present from Martians.

I feel like I'm doing all right in terms of strength levels at this age, and think my lifts were decent when I was younger.

But, I wish I had proper training knowledge back then......might have been able to put up some good numbers.
