Soon Venezuela will be in complete chaos with local warloads (drug cartel chiefs) in charge of various sections.
The U.S. will make deals with certain warlords, train their killers, give them millions of dollars.
A puppet government will be set up but really have no control over the country outside of the Capital.
American military will establish bases to protect oil company assets.
Americans will be killed by opposing factions supported by China, Cuba, Russia.
Sound familiar?
Cuba itself is in big trouble, there are a fraction of what they used to be in the 1980s, at the time thanks to massive communist help
Russia has other things on its plate, without Ukraine Putin would have a lot more influence, but wiht such a massive war going on he has to focus on his own survival
China was next door to Vietnam, but Venezuela is logistically a whole different story.
But it's probably correct that Venezuela will be unstable and difficult to run for quite some time. But at least there is now hope for a better future
Thanks to commodities they have enough income to become a way more prosperous nation
Look at how poor Iran, Cuba and Venezuela are, even though they have had vast opportunities to become very affluents in the past 50 years.
