They really dropped the ball with the last episode. But they got it right with the Furiaro character.

Not really sure what else they could have done. Showing Tony getting his brains blown out in front of his family would have been way too obvious... that way it was implied.

I recently watched the entire series and loved it.

Same. I watched it originally about 20 or 25 years ago whenever it was still new-ish. It is a good re-watch.

Another shitty character with no credibility

I've watched it over and over about 4 times since it ended. Only other series I've done like that is Band of Brothers. It had some definitely weak episodes,  like they were catching their breaths, surprised they got bought for another season, but overall, a stellar series. I'm now going back over select episodes between Land Man

For me there was only one "weak" episode out of 7 seasons. I think it was Mr Cusamano's Neighborhood where nothing much happens.
Sopranos is a series where I avoid even watching clips on YouTube, it can suck me in quickly and then I start binge watching.
