A little too late for anyone to want this film. This would have been great in the 90s. The people who played the video games have all grown up and moved on. We simply don't care anymore. I can't recall a single soul asking about a MK reboot.

These reboots are ridiculous. No more fresh ideas it seems.

I believe the Bloodsport reboot is in the works with Mike O' Hearn. Why stop there?! How about reboots of Enter the Dragon, Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, Nina 3 the Domination, Pray For Death, Gremlins, Water World, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Encino Man, My Father the Hero, The Neverending Story, and a rebooting of the rebooted Thomas Crowne Affair?

How about a reboot of Field of Dreams? Ray’s grandson inherited his property and was thinking of building retail space on the baseball field. Then when the magic happens, and the spirits appear, including the spirit of his grandfather Ray, he begins to see how important family is and learns that the ball field brings his loved ones together.
