For me Walter White was the poster boy of this phenomenon. Extremely beta school teacher goes bald because of chemo and over compensates by shaving his head and acting tough, but on the inside he was weak and fragile, completely destroyed when his wife cheats on him, a true indicator of a beta male

Sometimes I've seen old people eat, sauce running down the sides of their mouths, not giving a fuck if they look disgusting. When you get old you get more alpha; you realize it just doesn't matter what other people think of you. Most people don't care about you one way or another anyway, why would you care about them?

Shaving your head should not be based on whether you want to emulate the look of a shiny Mr. Clean. It should not be done in an effort to to distract from your baldness.

Being bald is just the way of the world and how YOUR cards fell. The bald community / alliance knows who belong and they all stick together. Fellow bald people give approval to other bald people in public and stick together. When bald people see people with receding hair or bald spots, that ticks them off and they do not accept them right off the bat. They need to prove that they’re decent folk and have good character. But when they see a bald person who shaved their head, then they immediately cast them out of the bald community. Shaving your head really should not be done except for medical reasons. Accept who you are.

This is a classic as well. But I was referencing some part that is not in a tv show but where he is on stage somewhere and there's a slap head playing the piano or something and while he is really bald, the fact that he shaves is identified as a form of insecurity or deception by Lary.

Not everything, only baldness. I have studied the topic for nearly 2 decades.

Hopefully one day I can achieve the same level of expertise in my other areas of interest such as religious fundamentalism and the study of the Jewish Question.

Yeah it might be the latter too. I was joking a bit with my post, but I've reflected on this a bit before by observing older people, they seem to care less, and will even tell you that many times LOL. I particularly remember one time a fella eating a kebab very open mouthed on the bus, I though this fella just doesn't give a fuck LOL. Of course some remain very self conscious to the end.
