It might be just because the site has been having constant issues so they are regularly rolling back to a slightly older version and posts are disappearing because of that

Ive had a few posts deleted over the years.

Don't know why.

I asked one of the mods who replied "im not the only mod on here, ask the others"

I found that some of the posts I thought were deleted actually weren't.  They were made on one thread that was merged into another thread.

But others were definitely deleted and I have no idea why. They were fairly benign posts. Didn't break any rules Im aware of. The last time I noticed it was a few months ago.

But I don't post as often anyway. No particular reason. I go through phases where I have an opinion on absolutely everything and other times I realize I don't have anything to add that hasn't already been said. And of course sometimes the forum is more entertaining than others.

Yeah,my posts were just mundane also......nothing controversial or weird........for me at least.   :D

We meet on Reddit or FB on a sub Reddit or a group maybe to relaunch a new website if need be.

Monetization may be the reason all those other boards died and it may be a no go if it morphs into a new website in time.

I think it's because of the issues with the site. It happened before and once the bugs were fixed it went back to being open to non members

Lots of bots and traffic attacks slowing down the server, so trying to figure it out - hence why sometimes the 'guests' are being blocked from looking at posts.

As for deleting of topics, usually they are merged, or moved to a different board area
