We got a ton here on the East Coast. Snow was up to my knee caps.
I shoveled 3 times on Monday: 3:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 4:30 PM. Took me 2 hours each time.
Then yesterday I shoveled from 4:30 AM-9:00 AM.
I usually walk to the gym on blizzard days in the morning around 1:00 AM. The streets are empty and the plows are out everywhere. None of the roads were plowed too well at this time so I usually walk down the double yellow line.
The key to staying warm is to dress in layers. I recommend a company called RefrigWear for warm coats and clothes.
Snow shoveling you need to go at a controlled pace and take pause breaks often to prevent your blood pressure from getting too high.
