Arnold had a Brother who sadly died in a car crash ( intoxicated ) & Arnold never went to the Funeral.

My sense is there was no love lost between Arnold and his father, but his mother maybe should have mattered in regard to the 1972 funeral. But Arnold was smack in the middle of beginning his ride to the top which was an awesome trajectory: Olympia level competition, real estate classes at UCLA, and beginning to set his sights on movie stardom, all within that same time frame. It was all about drive and discipline.

Franco passed away in Italy, remote village in central Sardinia. A seperate memorial service was held in California, where Arnold held a speech during the church service.

Arnold didn't attend his own father's funeral. Funerals are stupid anyway. I'm missing my own funeral because I'm getting cremated.
