He looks so short on TV but is like 6’2 which I guess is pretty small by NBA standards.

I fell asleep last night couldn’t believe what I woke up to with the Knicks pulling it off and winning.

There was no way I could fall asleep during that.  I made the mistake of turning off the game vs Cleveland when they were down 22 or something with 9 left and woke up and saw they won by 11.   Can't make that mistake again.

But yeah, were were joking that Brunson looks 5'5"

Yeah, he’s around the same height as me and Luka looked at least 6’6 or a little bit more

Brunson, is an annoying little pissant but damn he's good on closing games. Gotta respect how good the Knicks are after sucking for so long. If San Antonio loses tonight, it's over.

My bet is that the Spurs will win. This is setting up for a great series.

It's over! If NY chokes the fans will riot. If they win the fans will riot. There is going to be rioting regardless.  ;D

We are fucking cooked. That lack of experience is really showing its ugly head. The Knicks' experience, poise and closer in Jalen Brunson is just too much for this young and inexperienced team. I'm still team Spurs but I acknowledge great team when I see one. We'll see what happens in New York now.

wemby needs a co-star. Fox is not it and the only one that has the ability to become that on the roster is harper. Castle is good, but I don't see superstar potential.

They need to consolidate some of the guard talent and make a path for a harper/castle backcourt and see if they can swing fox for a mobile big who can help on defense and bang inside with victor on the floor. A jermaine o neal, rasheed wallace, kenyon martin type.

I don't think you're cooked, and I expect Wemby to be MVP for the next few years.

But it is entirely true the Knicks are getting in the young man's head, and forcing mistakes.

Plus, NY is incredibly balanced, and can pick up the slack when Brunson struggles, as they did yesterday.

And I know the officials are consistently awful, but NY had to overcome like 10 free points handed to SA yesterday.

The knicks have a 1a and 2a in KAT with incredible balance. They also have two elite defensive wings and the size to match wemby and kornet.

Spurs have a 1a but who steps up after that is a crap shoot. Fox isn't a star unfortunately.

Fox is good. He was/is injured and his game is off, plus he also has almost zero playoff experience.  He carried a woeful Kings team to the playoffs. It’s a learning process. Fox is probably gone anyhow because Harper has grown during this playoffs.

Brunson has lost in the  conference  finals and has overcome adversity with the Knicks (it’s crazy that he has developed into what he is, but even crazier the Mavs had him and Luka on the same team and couldn’t figure it out).

Also who’s the Rasheed, JO, KMart type guy into today’s NBA. Arron Gordon was that type of difference maker for the Nuggets. KAT would be in that category, miscast as the number 1 guy but an incredible 2nd option. Maybe Micheal Porter?

There's an amazing video comp out of all the naysayers like Stephen A and such saying so many bad things about Brunson going to NY.

I remember last year Skip Bayless basically said that Brunson was not the kind of player that he wanted to watch. It may have actually been the year prior.

Shit man, it was like two months ago Stephen A was roasting the Knicks saying they were bad and no way they’d do shit in the playoffs.

Yeah.

But to be fair, they were not this team at that point.

Everything is clicking right now, and everyone is on the same page.

Cool article in the Post about how the assistant coach was the one pushing for the challenge on OG's foul that literally probably won the game for them.

He is going on 29 now so I don't think there is much upside left. His game relied heavily on athleticism and his insane speed which will only decrease. I see a john wall like drop off for him.

He is what he is now. I agree with you on harper, he is the future PG.

Ya Aaron gordon was who I was thinking but he is still smaller than those guys. Those fellas could guard 4's and 5's. I am having a hard time picturing who it could be that's a good enough two way big. Someone like scotties barnes, but he is undersized for anything more than super limited small ball 5 lineups.

Good take. I can’t disagree. I forgot how long he’s been in the league and how old he is.I do think he’s on the trading block this year if they can get anything decent for him.

Those mid 90’s guys were the evolution of the sport, but we don’t see the Joe Smith, Antonio McDyesse, Robert Horry big who is a solid contributor.

Guys like Porzingas or Chet Holmgren would be most comparable I think.

President Trump and the Secret Service are going to have Madison Square Garden on lockdown on Monday night.

Stephen A Smith would be wise to keep his yap shut.
