Kind of. You could argue it's more literal and academic now. A 'kind of pig-like creature' is a little more fun and helps to craft the image of a fat sack of shit sleeping in an old BMW as opposed to an actual pig/man hybrid. As to Van's point, have fun with it. Probably not worth losing sleep over:D

every time someone says it its like a slap in the fcae to me, it jumps out of what they are saying.

Even when used in where you would think it was required its still not

A chipolata is a kind of sausage
A chipolate is a sausage

see, still not needed... its now used like a filler terminolgy of people who are fucking pretentious

I hear it used where people say "there was kind of 4 of us" , really, were there 5 or 3 of you or was it actually four, using the term "there were about 4 of us" is a more acceptable phrase to use but for me I need a number, not a fucking estimate

There is a guy on the radio here in the UK and he says "kind of" every other sentence, he also seems to have guests on who say it as well and they get into a "kind of" battler it seems trying to out do each other.

Yeah, that would drive me nuts. Listen to this guy below. Even I could only hack around 10 minutes before having enough of it. He's probably the most extreme example. It's your worst nightmare.

Haven't paid to close attention to this, other than noticing that noted ballbag Mitchell Hoopers's stack was quite light. Are they watching the athletes stacks year round, or only for a few months leading up to competition? Could they run it high most of the year, then just back off for a few weeks?

I accidentally saw of a Greg Doucette video where he criticized Hooper and I saw the stack. I caught only a a couple of minutes of it and supposedly his blood work was horrible. The stack was bullshit, 705 test? Come on. That one study put never-juiced guys on 600 test. He supposedly added 100mg Anadrol and 50mg Halo to this. He's a big boy wanting win, that stack isn't maximizing the potential effect from roids. I guess it's just this "I have to protect the kids" bullshit. It doesn't quite have to be on the Scott Mendelson 20 Anadrol level but that's not realistic. One Polish fella on professionalmuscle said Pudz told him he did 6 Anadrol with lots of tren and test all through his career yet this guy tops out at 2? Even I took 5 for a day or two, 2-3 for longer periods :D

Skirting past drug tests in tested competitions is half the fun

Professional cycling is a grueling sport, but corrupt and full of hypocrites.
If Lance Armstrong was French, would he have been disqualified? I don't think so

look at the average speeds in the Tour de france:

Overall speed

Overall Speed of the Tour de France
The 2025 edition was the fastest Tour de France in history. Tadej Pogačar rode 3,302 km in 76h 00m 32s, thus realising an overall speed of 43.4 km/h or 27.0 mph.[17]

Every year we say 'it is the hardest Tour ever, the hardest thing we have ever done'. It is all so crazy but, honestly, I know that this year was something on another level.

— Tadej Pogacar, on Tour de France 2025[18]
The slowest Tour de France was the edition of 1919, when Firmin Lambot's average speed was 24.1 km/h.[19]

Recent overall speeds
Overall Speed
Year   Winners' Average Speed[20]
2016   39.616 km/h
2017   40.997 km/h
2018   40.210 km/h
2019   40.576 km/h
2020   39.872 km/h
2021   41.165 km/h
2022   42.031 km/h
2023   41.431 km/h
2024   41.818 km/h
2025   43.440 km/h

Highest average speed of all Tour de Frances by Lance Armstrong: 41.7 km/h or 25.9 mph in 2005.

This is the same in nearly all one day cycling tours or in multiple week cycling tours. They are now (way) faster than 10 or 20 years ago
All clean of course   ;D

Professional cycling is a grueling sport,

It was more interesting before the drug testing.

Pot belge

The term is commonly used to describe a mixture of drugs, variously constituted from cocaine, heroin, caffeine, amphetamines, and other analgesics.

The mixture has become widely associated with the world of professional cycling where it was used for many years, before the institution of highly regulated testing.

In his memoir 'Prisonnier du dopage', former pro cyclist Philippe Gaumont describes using pot belge for winter training purposes more than as aid during competition: "J'ai toujours entendu les anciens dire que prendre les amphétamines pour une grande sortie d'entraînement aide à 'débloquer le moteur'" (rough translation from French: "I've always heard old timers say that taking amphetamines before a training ride helps to 'unclog the motor'"). Gaumont describes his use of pot belge during a seven-hour training ride of the Cofidis team in the mountains at Arcalis in 1997, where he easily outdistanced the team's climbers thanks to the drug. After that, he became dependent on the pot belge for training.

Can't unclog the motor in the "enhanced games."
