Jesus Christ THANK YOU. This can’t be reiterated enough. Enough with kg and all these ridiculous methods of measurements.

Jesus Christ THANK YOU. This can’t be reiterated enough. Fuck kg and all these stupid  ridiculous methods of measurements.

They're not foreign, per se. We just used them as a secondary system. That's why you see items in English units on the left and in metric units (in parentheses) on the right.

I mean you do measure the amount of protein you eat in grams, not ounces  ;D!

How tall is he?  He's one of the strongest guys ever, and pound for pound maybe the strongest, but he has the muscularity of an average gym rat.  I don't get it.  He must be some kind of mutant with super strong nerves and joints.

Sumo is real to me dammit!

To me, Colton is hard to comprehend, these loads would have sounded impossible some years back. You factor in his weight, he isn't a total lard ass like the other all time record breakers (nothing against strong lards asses... ok maybe a little), and he is like 24 if I'm not mistaken. The major potential problem he faces is injuries. I almost can't watch his squats out of fear, I expect the sound of a shotgun blast at any time and him collapsing to the floor. At least I've seen those loops on the monolift when he squats.

I've memorized a lot of imperial/metric conversions such as 315, 405, 500, 600lbs to kilo and so on :D
What's funny is American lifters think kilo plates are heavier than lbs plates, even when the load is the same between the two. When they lift with kilo plates they are always sure to mention it :D Our "plates" are 20kg but US 45 plates are 20.4kg so a "plate" IS heavier in the US.

A while back some US lifter forgot the competition he was at used kilo plates. So he called his bench thinking lbs. The load was roughly twice what he wanted. Amazingly no one caught it, apparently he didn't look at the plates. The weight crashed on his chest and he broke his arms. WTF! :D

Really - Then let's see you / Thor / Mitch at 120kg pull 520kg to lock out.
And then you'll have a case.

If you were to speculate, if those above guys switch to sumo for a while, is it possible they might lift more? I don't know, probably not :P

Sumo deadlift, or as I like to call it, Queerlift. Only women are supposed to spread their legs, and faggots.

Not at a BW of 120kg

Good point. Though in an all time highest weight lifted BW perhaps doesn't matter, still the highest.

Yep its still the heaviest weight lifted off the ground by a human !!
120KG Colton v 190+KG Hathfor.

I doubt most folk couldn't even roll that amount of weight let alone attempt to lift it.

A "strong" man couldn't even budge the other end of it. Most don't have a concept of how heavy that is. Colton also uses a hook grip although he has some problems approaching his maxes.

Hafthor (strong viking name) pulls the weight 3 feet off the ground while Colton (gay pornstar name) pulls the weight 3" off the ground because he's busy spreading his legs like he's used to for the schmoes.

True. Haftor needs to generate much more force for that.
I’ve studied physics just so much that I know it can be calculated.

Distance lifted times weight divided by time it took, or something like that. 🤷‍♂️🤯

Not true. Brian Shaw lifted 700kg and walked with it without spreading his legs like a fag. ;D

Hmmm I forgot to be more specific as I'm dealing with you

Colton is the only person to have lifted 520kg with his hands gripping
the bar & straps.
