Do you have any problems with ticks in that environment?  There is an ongoing tick bite problem in the US. But that dry terrain is probably not conducive for ticks.

Many things in life are dangerous.

Few things are as dangerous as a firearm.

I’m not saying they should be banned, mind you.  The right to bear arms is guaranteed by our constitution and that right shouldn’t be infringed.  I just think it’s important to be realistic about the dangers involved in gun ownership.

I’m on a range almost everyday and most certainly on the weekends.

I don't think it's the firearm but dangerous people, especially bad instructors who don't teach proper weapon handling.
