Also POTUS is a very important position wouldn't you think?  Most jobs no matter how menial usually require some sort of test to see that you are relatively competent enough to perform the tasks of the job. Why don't they have this for this job? They could use the Wonderlic test that would be a good measuring stick. hey if it's good enough for the NFL.

I think term limits is more appropriate than an age limit.  Although I'd like a specific set of cognitive tests if over, say, 70.

I had made a long response about this but my page froze and I had to restart this, but a quick recap= home town had big industry vegetation and water quality went to shit. now 50 years later the policy makers allowed nj companies to drop their toxic waste on the west end of town, causing the town to smell like rotten eggs and again polluting the water. {history repeats] And most of the people making these decisions are ancient. the head guy is a doppelganger for the crypt keeper.  Time to learn from our mistakes.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but for President/Congress, I do like folks to have 20-25 years experience.

But I do see both sides of the coin on this - sometimes these older ones need to get with times.
