I think term limits is more appropriate than an age limit.  Although I'd like a specific set of cognitive tests if over, say, 70.

I had made a long response about this but my page froze and I had to restart this, but a quick recap= home town had big industry vegetation and water quality went to shit. now 50 years later the policy makers allowed nj companies to drop their toxic waste on the west end of town, causing the town to smell like rotten eggs and again polluting the water. {history repeats] And most of the people making these decisions are ancient. the head guy is a doppelganger for the crypt keeper.  Time to learn from our mistakes.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but for President/Congress, I do like folks to have 20-25 years experience.

I'd also add in some sort of prerequisite knowledge and understanding of the Constitution and the governments role in upholding the Constitution while representing the people that vote them in.
