Point proven :)

The bankruptcy memes show how little folks know.

Similar to those who criticize Musk when the rockets fail.

the guy scammed people with a fake university and had to pay out a substantial sum. Yet idiots still give him the benefit of the doubt. What reasonable person would continue supporting someone who's initial act as president was rug pulling his followers.

what is his economic policy? getting tariff refunds for corporations?

You'll notice they offer no solutions, can never say that we would be better off under their candidate. Only repeating what their MSM overlords tell them to.

Levels of corruption beyond comprehension.

Morally bankrupt followers. I suppose rug pulling people for millions and selling them a phone they will never get to scam the fuck out of them is acceptable as long as immigrants are rounded up ::)

rene girards mimetic theory in full effect, need that scapegoat for pretend populist bullshit to work.

Truth API seems legal hey? get faster intel for some sweet insider trading.

Everything against him is a fake of course, he is the one true god and can do no wrong.

I don't mind you commenting, as it IS a public forum, but you'd be wrong.

He used to be able to concede a point and have a reasonable discussion.  He's just regressed.

I have barely interacted with him at all recently.

But believe what you want, and thank you for complimenting my insults as clever.

Nobody notices, but I have never made fun of anyone's looks, financial situation, job, illness, etc.

LOL! I usually notice when someone is making fun, especially when it is at my expense. I imagine most people do the same.

As an interesting comparison, contrast character qualities between Don Jr. and Hunter Biden.

Both the sons of Presidents.  Both jerks.

I agree that they both come off as jerks sometimes. Don Jr seems slightly more smug that Hunter. Other than that, I don't concern myself with either's character, mainly because I know neither man personally nor most likely will I ever know them.

And soon to be 82 years young. :)

Sometimes, it is difficult for me to tell when someone on Getbig is a serious person, or a person pretending to be serious.

Nice, I won't make it to that age, enjoy.

He isn't. He is duplicitous and emotional. Likely a good guy as it seeps through sometimes but he gives in to atavistic regression.

If he loses an argument his first move is DARVO as seen in the feigning victimhood in the above exchange. He is a truculent little man.

Most people cannot imagine living to be my age, until they get close to it. I know when I was much younger, living 80 plus years was unimaginable. My mom's medium told her I would not live to be 30-years-old -- so much for the accuracy of clairvoyance. That life insurance policy my mom took out on me was a bust. LOL

Maybe she meant dog years.

82 for a man is great, fitness certainly helps. A recent study showed it removed half the gene signatures for molecular aging of muscle tissue.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/paid-early-access-to-trumps-posts-raises-insider-trading-questions

"But, again, Geoff, I talked to many people who study Wall Street and former SEC enforcers who said, no, this is not public information because the very service is offering it to people before the rest of the world. I mean, that is the value add. You can get Trump's posts before anyone else.

So experts told me that is the definition of material nonpublic information, and one executive at a very large Wall Street firm told me, if this was any other administration, this would be considered criminal. And I put that to the Trump media spokesperson, and she said that is absurd."

Just selling information that can move markets to financial institutions, definitely nothing problematic about that. LOL.

You would have to be a moron to see the writing on the wall here! he is just selling it for fun and the institutions paying for it aren't looking to profit at all. They clearly and obviously just love his posts and need them a few seconds before other people. It's clearly not related to high frequency trading. Maybe even a couple of milliseconds. Clearly the implication is that his posts aren't market moving or have information the public doesn't have, how would he? he is the president not a psychic. They are just giving him 100k because they love his posts!!!!

Normal free market stuff here.

Maga are the dumbest people in the world unfortunately.

saying unknown corruption is just as bad as obvious corruption is definitely a choice. I mean, you can always downplay the obvious corruption as not that bad because this clandestine corruption is clearly just as bad. Now, you couldn't prove that but you could always assert it.

Joe Rogan was stunned during a conversation with Harvard professor David Sinclair about the risks of popular weight-loss drugs.
Sinclair stated that sudden blindness from a condition called NAION (an “eye stroke”) has doubled and is linked to GLP-1 medications.
“It’s not well known. Obviously companies don’t want to talk about it.  But yes, sudden blindness has doubled, seemingly because of these meds,” Sinclair said.
Rogan reacted with “Holy sh*t!” and then pulled up the research himself, reading that users were 68.6 times more likely to develop the eye stroke and 8 times more likely to develop diabetic retinopathy.
Rogan expressed frustration with influencers pushing the drugs on everyone so soon after their widespread rollout, calling the side-effect data “terrible.”     FYI on the second thing.  If we see the blatant corruption imagine what is happening behind the scenes. Trump is truly a master of prestidigitation.

The NAION thing is incredibly misleading, its not a clear signal and relates to rapid HBA1C reduction. If you look at the data its an increase from 5-6 per 100k to 11-30 per 100k, a doubling but nothing concerning and not reaching statistical significance

I am surprised he is fear mongering tbh

https://bjo.bmj.com/content/early/2026/04/28/bjo-2025-328729

"Conclusion Data from randomised placebo-controlled trials with semaglutide and liraglutide do not show an increased incidence of NAION in participants receiving GLP-1RA treatment versus those receiving placebo and, thus, do not suggest a relationship between GLP-1RA use and NAION.

Summary Based on data from randomised placebo-controlled trials, exposure to the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) semaglutide and liraglutide was not associated with an increased incidence of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy (NAION) relative to placebo."

I read a great commentary today about the hole in the ground next to the Whitehouse. Congress waited too long to do something about Trump's executive overreach. The same is true of the legal system. Once the East Wing was demolished it was too late to act against it. Now we have an obscene, ginormous, ugly hole with a stop order on the construction of what promises to be a garish, gold-leafed ballroom/Trump vanity monument. This is an unfortunate expense for the "people's house" and taxpayers.
