how about andrew painter yesterday. they lost but he was great.

I have drafted Painter the prior two years in my FBB leagues, but he never broke out to his potential.

Didn't get him this year, but he's shown flashes of brilliance.

Would love to see Philly knock off LA in the playoffs.

  Me TOO. I don't get into the fbb league, but a few years back I played a football pool. you picked the winners weekly it was like 5 bucks a week or so. I won 6 out of the 17 weeks and the overall by like 10 points. sadly there was no prize for the over all. there was like 20 to 25 people in it usually a week.

I've been in a 12 team FBB league for 15 years.  First prize is decent - usually $1100 bucks or so.

Was third highest scoring team in the league, and didn't make the playoffs.  Terrible luck/timing in matchups.

My superpower was identifying high upside minor league arms like Painter and grabbing them before anyone knew who they were.  Now AI makes everyone an expert.....

baseball-reference is a great site.

Check out Baseball Savant and Fangraphs if you want to get into the more technical stuff.

Savant is really cool because it can show you if a player is having a "bad" year, vs "unlucky"
