He's started to drop some popular interviews from his archives on YouTube.  This is a really good interview with Madonna, who I think doesn't get the credit she deserves.  She's sold over 300 million albums behind only the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Elvis.

Liked her music in the turn of ’80s/’90’s. True Blue LP was it?
Others had good tunes here and there.

After watching her self destruct with all the botched surgeries I feel kind of dissapointed.
30yrs ago I would have said that she would age more normally and get behind music business.

Madonna moved to NYC in 1978 after dropping out of the University of Michigan.  She flew there with $35 in her pocket and told the cab driver to taker her to the center of it all.

This picture was taken in 1979 by her boyfriend Dan Gilroy.  He got her to transition from dance to music when he started the punk band the Breakfast Club.  She was the drummer and occasional singer.  She wanted to become the lead singer of the band, but was declined.  She left the band to start Emmy and the Emmys in 1980 where she was the lead singer.  Debbie Harry from Blondie was her role model at the time.

Madonna is 21 in this picture and it was taken before she joined the Breakfast Club.

Madonna left Emmy and the Emmys in early 1981 to start her solo career.

Live performance in 1982 at Danceteria of Everybody.  The same year she signed a record deal with Siren Records which was owned by Warner Brothers.  This video is from her own channel.

Her first self titled album was released in 1983.
