AI will explain this to you if you really care to ask:

An abundance (post-scarcity) economy produces goods through technologies that drive the marginal cost of production toward zero, and distributes them primarily through free or near-free access rather than price-based markets.
Production: Advanced automation, AI, robotics, additive manufacturing (3D printing), synthetic biology, and abundant low-cost energy (renewables or fusion) enable highly efficient, decentralized, on-demand creation of goods. Once fixed costs (factories, designs, infrastructure) are covered, additional units cost almost nothing to make. Open-source designs and shared knowledge further lower barriers.
Distribution: With scarcity largely eliminated for many goods, allocation shifts away from money and markets. People access goods freely or via minimal-cost systems (public commons, universal basic services, digital platforms, or gift/collaborative economies). Pricing, if used at all, covers only residual scarcity or externalities rather than rationing supply. Examples already seen include open-source software, Wikipedia, and near-zero-cost digital goods.

Who is paying for the cost of raw goods or utilities/fuel needed for this?  I have yet to see anyone remain alive on a daily diet of open source software, Wiki or digital goods.  You can't just download a photo of a meal for dinner.

I have very little in the markets but I recently dumped a bunch of money in the MAG 7 including Space X and when that dropped below the opening IPO I dropped more. AI, space tech is here to stay. SPCX

I agree, but how do you know which one to invest in? Everyone knew the internet would be big too, but for every amazon.com there was a pets.com

Quote
Some of Popeyes’ automatic ordering kiosks are causing customer debate over tipping.

A customer shared a post in the Retail Dead or Alive Facebook Group on July 26 saying that the Popeyes ordering kiosk at Great Lakes Crossing Mall in Auburn Hills, Mich. asked them to tip, prompting an online debate.

The individual shared an image of the kiosk, along with a screen that asked if they would like to “add a tip” as “a small way to thank the folks behind your crispy, juicy meal.”

How much will we tip our AI?

I don’t know what’s more shocking, a self order kiosk asking for a tip or that Great Lakes crossing has a Popeyes.

Musk is now offering 6% if you sign up for the premium accounts (I assume it is an introductory rate they scale back later). That's more than MMA are paying right now. To pay for the premium + and out earn an MMA you'd put in about 25-30k and leave it there for a year. Seems a bit scary to put too much money into it if they can freeze your account for violations of their social media policies. Brave new world.

The retirement. Basically money wont matter theory will never happen. The elites want the money and power. Not sure how they'd stop it from happening but they will

How do we even judge smarts? LOL. I hate to bring Trump into this but many say he's an idiot but for others his "success" proves he's smart. I know I rag on him all the time but I'm not saying he lacks all qualities and a certain type of smarts. Some talk about things like "EQ" but that's hard to define exactly. I'm fascinated by how apparently IQ correlates with many measures of success in life, even health and lifespan, whereas others think it's completely meaningless.

Joe Rogan says Musk is scary smart and people have ridiculed Joe for saying so since he's himself a total idiot and can't judge if someone's smart LOL and in fact all of Musk's success is due to him being born into a certain circumstances and him getting government grants for his businesses. That's what they say about Trump as well, he was given money by his father and could fail spectacularly numerous times due to having something to fall back on. We'll see if it turn's out Trump ends up as Herbert Hoover, as he himself feared if he didn't sign the MoU.

Just some musings by an average dude; I got 100 on an IQ test a few times.

Just kiddin about Musk being dumb, Van.

But he's no Bhanky.

I knew you were kidding 8) Just saying people have different perspectives on how to judge intelligence. And even a very smart man can act very dumb. I certainly wouldn't say Musk is stupid. I just read an NYT article saying Musk's X posts are straight out of the Turner Diaries, how he's obviously a white supremacist. I like that of course and I'm on X because it's relatively free now :D

I agree. It should be this way but there is no way the ruling class is going to make life easy for everyone.
