Congratulations to Nick, I kinda knew he was going to win, he was the only one with true conditioning, reminiscent of Yates, just grainy, no fat, definition everywhere, Derek looked too soft from the front and the black dudes looked ok but we all want a white Mr Olympia

Why is he wearing such tiny thongs? Looks horrible, but maybe it pleases the judges. He should have gotten points deducted because of it.

They probably would have deducted points if they were bigger LOL. Everyone wears the same type of cut.

Nick looks smooth as shit there but they said he was sliced and diced and the hardest of the top placers. Someone texted me before the show asking if I'd seen the nasty boils on his back? After the show I texted him back saying his favorite won :D

I watched one fitness routine and the chick was doing head stand splits with a minimal string up the ass. I think it's pretty tasteless unless the point is to show your actual asshole.

"Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if the Nick the Mutant Walker thread had to do with his Olympia victory. Why we put that in the Title, or why we didn't. No, all that matters is that two stood against many, that's what's important. Valor pleases you, Crom, so grant me one request. Grant me REVENGE! And if you do not listen, then to hell with you!"

It belongs in the title, at least add it, much as some hate him, he earned this compared to the others this year on that day.

Well doine  ;D !

This fat tub of lard is already being cocky and instigating issues with Derek. He’s acting like he’s always been the true champion this whole time. He probably thinks he’s going to be Mr. Olympia for as long as he wants. This will be his only win. No chance he’ll win next year. He’s a one hit wonder. That gut of his is going to grow very very large. Maybe those veins will finally not be able to take it anymore and will explode. Or he’ll be crushed in the leg press. Can his abdominals explode? Something medically will happen to him. He’s a ticking time bomb. What a miserable nasty individual. If Derek was the worst Mr. O, then this creature is definitely the most hideous Mr. O of all time.

I thought Nick was the first Mr. Olympia winner wearing glasses, then I saw that the Classic winner seems to be wearing glasses also?  Reaction to the Viagra?  Or the Zempic?

Good for Nick. Don’t appreciate how arrogant and cocky he is now after only just winning.

But if Nick the mangled mass monster was able to win, why didn’t Victor Martinez ever win? What about Branch Warren? What about Flex Wheeler? How about Rhul? So Nick was better than them?

He was the best of who showed up on that day and that's all that counted.  Culturally, it's possible this is an indication the zeitgeist is turning towards embracing the "hardcore".  Nick certainly seems hardcore, especially compared to the others genetic marvels, manlets and oil.

Yes they probably would've - only they were not competing & when they
were competing there were other equally as good or slightly better physiques
competing so the if's & but's are pointless.
Nick was judged the winner against what he was competing against.

I understand standards have slipped, I had Nick as the winner when he was compared with Andrew Samson and Derek my eyes just kept going back to Nick, I thought he was a stand out winner at prejudging.. all the straight firsts with Samson on day 2 just shows shit Judging, he didnt look that much different than the day before, maybe they were trying to drop Nick to second

The judging standards probably haven't changed. The talent pool has. Fans say the standards are switching this way or that, and maybe it might be true at times, but I think the judges have to work with what's in front of them. When Dorian first won many said, "doesn't symmetry matter at all anymore?!" Now many think think he was quite symmetrical and aesthetic :D

Interesting that you could overlook his shortcoming as I'm sure you don't think that's an appealing physique type otherwise 8)

An amazing win in many ways. If I were Nick I probably wouldn't have thought I had a chance of ever being Mr O. Maybe being a bit delusional can be a good thing :D

Exactly lol...
Hard to say about the talent pool shrinking; I think there are more ways to monetize your "physique" than there was 25 years ago; where a pro card and wrestling schmoes were your only source of income.... shosho-media changed that. so oiling up, slip into posing trunks (with a sock in it) isn't so appealing...

I havent overlooked anything, he has his shortcomings, gut, although he did control it up until he won then it blew out like someone pulled a ripcord on a dinghy.

He also has pretty shit legs but he stood out condition wise

I have heard people complimenting guys for controlling their guts onstage ... top tip guys, you shouldnt have a fucking gut that you have to control.

so much talk about how conditioned Nick was but really all he had on the others are defined and freaky hamstrings.

Also next to Andrew Jacked he quite often looked like a Medium sized version next to an XL especially when you compared legs.

So Nick won on having more conditioned hamstrings than the rest. Basically. For some reason people think conditioned hamstrings is more important than say back or abs  ???

I will give him arms. His arms are great in the FDB and RDB but that is about it. His legs are so much smaller than Andrews. Just look at the size difference in quads here. And look at the conditioning of the back. Andrews is actually better. I really don't see why Nick is winning here. Especially when Nick has a huge waist.

Yes I had Nick or Derek in prejudging for 1st & 2nd
Derek didn't look as good at the finals & Samson looked the same.
Not sure how they had him winning in the finals.

Nick doesn't have a pretty physique only he had enough to win.

I really don't care that much I just think it's funny that he wins when you compare the stature, sheer size, better X frame and all
