yeah right,
  you gotta understand that it's not like you want to fight in Pride , so you just go to Japan and they let you fight.It's alot more compicated.
 I just cannot believe that Monson got paid only 5 g's

there'd be no shame in fighting for a grand at all if i was a rec fighter....and even a pro...ufc isn't the only thing you hafta fight in...

or is it in the contract?

some guys dont have the fan base or the skill level to ask for that much...but you're right...

it's all in perspective i guess.  if you suck at what you do...you're not gonna get paid! look at forrest..hasn't been around long in the scheme of things...but his charisma and fan drawn make him worth money! you are what you make yourself out to be

Yeah the UFC does not let its elite fighters fight for Pride and just like any other major sport the UFC calls you it is not like you say ok I wanna fight in the UFC ir Pride they call you and 200grand is money for 15 mins % grand is not alot but hey do what you gotta do
