that Darin Lannahan<sp?> dood..he managed golds in venice..flex did something on him once..he had HUGE dilet like arms except dood ws white! <i'm just saying..lets not yanno). Never saw anything else on him..always thought with arms like his he ws gonna make pro or something..

i remember darin, and bingo. I trained with both at given times when I lived in Venice. Don't know what happened to them though.

Lanaghan did some work for everyone's favorite magazine, Colt, and faded from the scene.

Last I heard, he was in one of the construction trades, electrician I think.

I spoke with Darin Lanaghan's brother, Mike, last month. Darin is working as a union electrician in the Los Angeles area. Darin trained & worked as an electrician for several years before coming to Venice & Gold's Gym.

Darin certainly could have been an excellent pro. He however had a family and young child, so the money required to train as a pro trains, was not available (credit to D on this point).  

Did he do some work for some gay mags? Hell yes. Did he get paid? Hell yes. Do I care? Hell no.

I saw Bingo last week.   He is 40 pounds lighter and in excellent shape. Not bodybuilding shape... normal people shape. Nice guy.

i remember Darins arms man they were huge and the bis looked like they attached somewhere near his wrists..as for bingo binh..for some reason muscle mag would always mention him back in the day and Dan D in one of the rants about magazines said and i quote " who or what in the heck is a bingo binh" so  i remembered!

Had Edgar got his pro card (and nailed his conditioning) he would have done very well as a pro.  Reminds me of a young Ronnie: great arms, great taper.
