I predicted that he would win, and he did.
Really a great body.
What I didn`t like was the way Charles reacted on Heath, arrogant and angry. I`m glad Heath won, I had Strydom 2 places higher, but his legs were not ripped enough, his posing was terrible.

Yeah, that kind of surprised me the way Darrem behaved yesterday. I've alway's held him in the light of a class act.

Nah, I think the outcome could have gone either way. Darrem was better in prejudging, but, IMO, the judges and promoters wanted a happy crowd. So Phil got the nod. Usually, when that close, they give it to the seasoned vet, right? Not this time. Coincidence, I guess.

And I don't just make accusations- I ask questions which lead to good discussions. This place would be no fun with 40 "Congrats Phil" threads right now. Discussing the politics, money, and puppetmasters is way more fun

I used to be a Darrem fan . . . but now it turns out

~~1. he's a sore loser. he did not have it in the bag, and he knew it.~~ apparently, I missed something.

2. he had more mass, but he looked pretty damn watery. his back and serratus-intercostal region were pretty sad.

3. his delts have gotten funky looking. I don't know if it's site injecting . . . or it may just be his genetic shape.

4. his head is funny-shaped, which really seals the deal.

Darrem looked ill- a little woozy maybe. The look on his face showed he was downright pissed. But only for a second. Then he put on the show smile and shook hands and did everything a pro should do.

However, he did walk offstage immediately with the check- not sure if he was supposed to stick around for pics.

Look it up. I'm working and getting ready to watch the playoffs. Phil is a VYO guy. Ask shawn.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. I simply ask a few pointed questions and spurn a few discussions. If my ideas had zero merit, they wouldn't result in long ass threads. If I wrote, "Ronnie Coleman is a martian", there would be 2 or 3 responses saying "240 is a dumbass" and it'd die. However, many of my thoughts do make some decent sense given the available fact set, and some good discussions do ensue, regardless of the final verdict.

I don't remember 1 single pro show where you didn't make 15 threads right after the show saying the show was a fix etc..
If you watched the show you would see that the Vyotech guys didn't received gifts.( well maybe Wilmore should have been 1 place lower but who cares he isn't even in the top 3)

Anyway I'm not hating here. I think you are a brilliant and funny guy but I am the kind of person who hates when people complains for nothing.
If the show was really fixed, I wouldn't mind people saying it. but this time it isn't the case

I was floored by Heath's physique. I did think he was a tad incomplete, and while he looked better as the evening show went on (and Darrem looked sick), Darrem beat him on most poses in the prejudging. but it could have gone either way. And in those cases, they usually reward the seasoned vet, not the incomplete rookie.

I was just pointing out what many said- if it was close, Heath would win without question, as it was in his hometown and he was the poster boy for the company running the show.

My honest opinion was Darrem won prejudging, but Heath looked better for the night show and was more involved in making a statement during the posedown... Darrem seemed so tired and unenthusiastic, while Heath was actively going after Darrem matching pose for pose trying to prove he was better...

I would have had Darrem in first and Heath second, but i do think give Heath some time and he will be damn near unbeatable... Fucking amazing genetics and freaky bodyparts...

There hasnt been a 26 year old with so much potential since the days of Levrone and Wheeler...

Heath won because of condition and superior muscle size. Although I do admit Derrem has him on chest.. but Derrem came in too soft! Heath from the momment he stepped onstage.

IMO, it would be a smart move for Phil to skip the NY Pro.
I don't think he should do the O yet too, he isn't ready. He should rest on his colorado win, have a good off season and win the 2007 ironman. then he takes another couple of month off to improve for the 2007 O and place top 6.

this would be the smart thing for him. He doesn't need to compete so everybody can know who he is. Everybody know who Phil Heat is since he won the Junior nationals.
