Looking at the Colorado pro there were loads of guy's who looked better then Gary strydom and loads of the other guys, yet as they were european guys who no one had heard of they totally got shafted.
Whay is it that these guys have to "pay their dues" before they ever got a look in

Maybe European bodybuilders aren't generally used to the customs of comforting the judges?

Them European guys just come over and think they can act hetero and shit. WTF is up with dat?

Most of them are either conditioned and smaller, or bigger and softer. The few who do look good, don't get noticed cuz of low exposure. The judges have preconceived notions of the big names which are supposed to win and they focus on them.

Maybe it's because all the judges are American and they've pretty much decided who's going to be in the top ten before the contest has started. They will go with the names they're most familiar with, instead of the physiques in front of them. $:-\$

But realistically, what did she expect? Figure shows normally have 20/25 girls. The best of the best from all over the world. She only did 3/4 shows and expected to place so soon? Very few girls do that. Look at alot of the now top girls...many of them did numerous shows before they placed. Compete, talk to the judges, make improvements and have patience. Competing at a pro level and not placing is nothing to be ashamed of anyway, it is still a good accomplishment.
