Scientifically speaking here...

Humans can only get so big...

1.Carrying over 300lbs shredded at 5'8" takes a toll on the bones.

2.Carrying over 300lbs shredded at 5'8"takes a toll on the internal organs espically the heart.

3.Doing what it takes to get to 300lbs shredded at 5'8" takes a toll on the whole body.

4.Skin can only stretch so much. Guys trying to get up to 25 inch biceps(Which is what we'll see in the future if this rate of growth of bodybuilders continues) will start seeing problems with their skin.

A 5'8"-5'10" frame can only carry so much weight. Considering Bodybuilders aren't getting taller..They'll start seeing alot of problems.

Unless some new technology is invented in the future to completly alter their genetics to make their bones stronger,Skin more elastic,Heart stronger and make them taller..I simply don't see the growth of bodybuilder size continuing much longer.

i agree, but then again it goes back to the concept of times, remember when haney hit the scene everyone was saying oh god this guy is huge, and he was but then yates hits the scene bigger and heavier, same thing was said, then ronnie comes along and pushes the envelope alittle farther.i think with different anabolic drugs being made there will be a 5ft 10 400lb mr olympia in another 50 years or so,i could be wrong though and for the health of those bodybuilders i hope i am

Gotta agree WIth Johnny on this one. IMO when PRO and Amatuer BBERS who are considered massive aren't dieting, they can blow up to tremendous weight beyond what their structure was allowed to support. Everyone here who bodybuilds and weighs over 200lbs, knows the nagging injuries that bother you are minor compared to what the PRO's and high ranked Amatuers go through. And of course that's based on the weights these monsters work out with. Tendons and ligaments don't strenghten and grow like muscles because of the lack of bloodflow.

i would like to see another arnold with the mr olympia crown, or somebody who can weigh in at 270 6'2, with a 33-34 inch waist.
