lol so true! I think Only coleman is legid!

Well, Johnny Jackson also competes as a powerlifter and has deadlifted over 800lbs in a legit competition.

Have you ever seen him train? Why do you think his legs are so crappy? I seen him do 8 plates squats.... on a machine for half reps in a flex photoshoot. :-\
I have him seen him train many times and I have spotted him on several occassions.Trust me bro he is very very strong..Yes he can press 5 plates for reps..the time you saw him train on the smith machine squating 8 plates(765lbs) is when his knee was fucked up..You wouldnt last more then 1 wk training with him at his intensity..But then wtf would you know..Seriously Bro...... if you are going to keep dissing every one atleast get your facts straight and  your head out of your arse..
Peace D

he did 455 on incline in a bfto video. free weights and full reps, only a few days away from a contest. he can also front squat 5 plates with no knee wraps like it's nothing. dj is definitely strong as hell with free weights. don't forget branch, johnny o, ronnie himself, cutler isn't a slouch despite training light, ruhl is strong as fuck, melvin squats around 700.

Not sure what tape that is of Bertil, but in 1981 or so his first trip to World Gym, he sat on the end of the bench after someone just benched 495 and with myself, Kal Sklyak (?), Dennis Tinnerino, Gre Deferro and many other watched Bertil bench 495 as a warmup.  I told this story a few times on here.  He had just came in and Kal was gong around the gym making sure everyone knew who the new guy was.  He sat on the end of the bench facing the street and was strecthing for several minutes.  Eevryone was watching this monster stretch.  Then he laid down on the bench and grabbed the bar then let go and was stretching more.  They guys were all saying "no way is he going to do that".  Well he grabbed the bar lifted it off the rack and held it for about a few seconds, then lowered to his chest very slow.  He let it lay there for about a few more seconds, then proceeded to do 4 or 5 reps like nothing.  Everyone was grabbing each other and saying "no way" and justshaking their heads in amazment.  SO I promise you he could do allot more than what that tape shows.

Great story, onlyme. I appreciate your contributions on this board.

Saner can't be taller than 5 foot so that doesn't really count.. Range of motion is half what it would be for a normal person. And I heard he inclined 5 plates for 6 reps.. He doesn't impress me.

c'mon alexxx, that's a cop out on your part.  Proportionaltly he moves the weight as far as a anyone unless he's got arms that are proportionatly shorter than everyone else does.

Its easier for shorter dudes.. Me with my long arms doing 3 plates becomes hard.. but I still do it because I am a winner and also because I am the strongest guy in my dongeon gym.  8)

i think guys today are stronger or guys from the 90's were a bit stronger than those of the 80's.  you had guys like ruhl, atwood, nasser, ian harrison, dorian, tom prince, lee priest, etc.  these guys were all over 300 lbs. and could move serious weight.

but now you have guys like richard jones, ahmad haidar, darrem charles, george farah, jaroslav, etc.
