Whats that got to do with it.  He's right, his arms are overpowering the rest of his body there.

Most of the reason it looks like he is overpowered in places is because he is narrow.

His arms are a lot like levrones, somewhat smaller delts but his chest and width are a bit more narrow than levrone

Levrone is an excellent example. when he just turned pro the knock on him was he was a little narrow across the top , and he managed to fill out pretty good. i think Phil can also. Phil has higher quality muscle than Darrem, that's why he beat him both times. Darrem is ALWAYS in shape but I think he's getting a little long in the tooth.

Melvin doesnt impress me at all. There is nothing remarkable about that physique that sticks out in my head. Hes got a tiny waist with no knockout body parts. Even if he did come in excellent condition which he never does, I still think Heath would give him a run for his money. Melvin seems like hes always around the 5th place range and to me they seem like gifts since hes never 100% dry. Heath is already beating him in IFBB wins. Melvin from when he won the NOC vs. Phil Heath now would be a pretty good match up.

phil looks great, esp. considering age.  he reminds me of shawn ray, but thicker and denser.  (just a little bit).

Yeah that back double bi is pretty sick, but every time I see melvin on stage he looks the same, but thats just my opinion

I've been saying on here that Melvin needs to get with Joe McNeil, the same guy who got Flex cut in 92-93. Flex told Dex to get in touch with him , and he made "The Blade", sharper than ever. Joe seems to know that type of physique, so it would stand to reason, that if Joe was able to fix Flex's weak spots, which are the same as Melvin's, then Mel would have that finished look that he needs to be number 1. Working with the Chad, ain't cutting it.

Its not as bad as Lee Priest though. Heath's chest is pretty good and I am sure he is going to bring it up majorly!
