No more mass monsters???

Weed, In case you haven't noticed it's going back to the "Zane-like" physique meaning it's going back to the lighter, more ripped type of physique that have great genetics and thats what has been winning the shows since the beginning of the season exept for Warren Branch. I said quite a few years ago that these "mass monsters" cannot hold that type of physique and that the days of the so called "mass monsters" will be coming to and end and sure as shit it's heading that way with the exeption of the Olympia. I don't train bodybuilders anymore, but when I did I had a few state champs, 6 top 3 National Champs and 3 top 5 Ms. Olympia's one and one third place Ms. Olympia. I get greater satisfaction training athletes working with obese children and the general public.

Well - apart from the people who like to hijack or ruin threads, the topic is a good one - the Mass Monsters vs. the Physique that is attainable. Who will win?

Arguements from both sides have been drawn out a number of times, but the fact is that people are really tired of seeing the guy, while wanting to see muscle, and a cool physique. Mass monsters have been let in the past posses great muscles with a large gut - I think what we are seeing here is that if you do have a large guy, you will be marked down.


Hands down, regardless, Phil Heath won that show. Physique was great.

No they are not going back to aesthetics. This happens EVERY year at the smaller shows. Yet come Olympia time, the biggest man takes it.............same shit every year. Don't get your hopes up.

ronnies the best who do you think should win jay cutler what does he have going for him other than he got creative with the protan and claimed his back was improved nothing .I respect phil heath because he is lightyears ahead of jay just like most of the IFBB so get over yourself.
