Bigger hype - Federov or Kamali

Federov obviously has injuries and still competes AND is a real pro who doesnt hate on supporters and non supporters alike... Plus Federov Hype is more the WEiders doing.... FINISHED hype is all him and his crew...

kamali never had such a big hype like federov but unlike kamali federov seems to be very shy and humble

again,i personally have nothing against this bad boy image
i think gus and kamali are just acting this way to make the boring bb sport more entertaining

Federov is humble and well liked but came in sorry shape.  Kamali's not so well like but was definitely in good condition.  Neither physiques impress me very much but Kamali gave it his all and is entertaining while Alex forgot to diet and is a boring poser.  I wish them both all the best but neither will ever live up to their hype.

Personality aside.  Kamali at least has done more in the sport than Fedorov.  All Fedorov did was show up in condition at TWO shows in RUSSIA (hometurf) against Ronnie, Jay, and pretty much no one else.  Anyone could have taken third when most of the Olympia roster stayed back in America.  King made noise his first year on the pro scene at shows that at least matter. 3rd Ironman 2001 4th Arnold 2001 10th Olympia 2001.  5 years ago yeah but that was his first go round with top IFBB pros.  Fedorov didnt place at his first Olympia and who knows where he placed at the NY Pro.

i can understand the hype surrounding federov.  a guy who is still an amateur, beats out a bunch of Olympia contenders and places 3rd behind coleman and cutler, and kinda holds his own. no wonder all the hype. 

alex has gotten worse since the 2003 russian grand prix, but he dev. shows potential.

The only hype about Kamali is what comes out of his own mouth, that's the difference.

If you're gonna talk yourself up, you should be able to back it up when the big day arrives!


To my knowledge, Fedorov didn't make any boasts about doing major damage at the show.

Kamali is all hype - and that is why he now gets ripped on so much.  He boasted too much and called out people he shouldn't have.  Now he took like 2 years off and can in the same as usual.  That is a disappointment. 

Alex just has fans who hype him.  I bet he has pretty much no idea if he is hyped or not here.  The guy doesn't even speak English - so we know he isn't hyping himself.  He is much more humble and kind to everyone.  So regardless if he show upi in shape or not, he certainly will have many fans and much respect.  Alex just seems to be a better person for the sport.

alex never asked me at any point to put up pictures of him or anything,when he found out i was putting up pictures his only response was to thank me for the support,ill admit i was alittle over excited about him training in our gym and stuff,i got caught up in the moment so to speak.he was so cool with us and humble that we really took a liking to him,we are still big fans at least i am anyway and im pretty sure the rest of apollon gym still is also.he will be back at our gym in aweek or 2,as far as im concerned hes still my favorite bodybuilder regardless of his placing last weekend,hes proven to be a great human being which is more important imo,he will have his time in the limelight whether its sooner or later,it will come

i would definitely say Federov. Kamalis forst 2 pro shows were his best and he qualified for the O. federovs have been appalling, he shows no pro qualities on stage and should take the easy road and retire from competition

as of now id say alex has more potentiol than kamali,if alex had yates take him under his wing for a year or so and teach him how to to things RIGHT alex would go farther than kamali in years to come in bodybuilding
