i think there's some validity to it. squats and deadlifts work the core very hard, and if you're on gh, slin, or whatever, your core muscles will grow much more rapidly than if natural. in the case of kamali, where the receptors in his limbs seem to be burnt out, it would make sense that his core muscle development would eclipse all else. so, if he were to stop squatting, stop hitting his core, he could potentially halt midsection growth and improve his weakpoints.
