Groink .....

A : These people don't give a shit what you two second rate Woodward and Bernsteins think.

Groink, I believe it has been evident that they do indeed "give a shit".  And let's remember what Woodward and Bernsteins did to Nixon.

b : They know no matter what answer they give you retards will never be satisfied, it's just more grist for the mill.

I think that when truthful answers are given when initially asked, everyone is satisfied. Anything else eventually causes more hardships and downfalls for those who elect to hide the truth or keep it under wraps.

C : They don't have to tell you shit, it's none of your business really.

I kind of entirely agree with you here but this great site opens everything up for discussion and when people respond without factual responses, it initiates the snowball down the hill effect.

Honestly is always the best policy they say and conspiracy theories are always very interesting.

Except for the name calling, this has been a very interesting discussion, and if a problem with the funds did in fact exist, I'm am sure that the comments on this site will be remembered the next time out and eveyone will be treated with more respect and etc, etc, etc.

Shit Kevin I hope we aren't bonding.  Anyway, no matter what anyone says including me, 240, Jack, Vinny or even Wayne, nothing matters till the day after the show.  Then we will all see.  The only thing is how much people talk bad about the PDI when no one has given it a chance.  Look at Don King.  He is the biggest rip off and true crimimnal there is, and he is also the best promter there is.  Who cares what happened in the past with Wayne he is driven and determined to make the PDI great and I am supporting him.

Come on everyone, lets join hands! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI! PDI!  ;D ;D

Maybe, but no hugging in public!
I'm not that much of a singer so I'll let you guys do the chanting.

Would have to agree with you on this one.  If can produce the #s on a bbing scale vs boxing... then he should get support on the ventor.  I read an article where as Don King's children said he only smiles when someone talks about money.  Maybe someday I could co-promote with him... just wouldnt get in a fight on a street corner with the man.
Oh...Monica!

In general, I agree with both of you, but the people behind the show were the ones who opened the door to discussions about finances.

Granted, they are NOT obligated to answer the tough questions, but the fans/critics are within their rights to question certain things based on information put out there by the event organizers prior to the show.

This is where i disagree. If I were in the position of promoting a show and some internet heroes who have ZERO involvement in my show   financially, promotionally or otherwise start making demands for me to disclose my financials.......I would tell them to go fvck themselves. They did nothing but rag on the show from the moment it was announced, they deserve nothing.

Isn't everyone a foxhole Christian when the bombs are dropping?

More to the point I was trying to point out how pathetic Lucius is. Any pro not named Cutler and he's polishing their toenails, no matter how despicable the pro is.

I wonder if Jesus approves of worshipping such people.

Listen flapjack - I have never claimed to be a bodybuilder and yes I had no clue how to pose - I'd never done a show. However I have nothing to hide from, since you're so infatuated with me - I was 5'11" 168lbs - skinny as shit in bodybuilding terms but at least I can say I have abs - something you wouldn't know anything about. Here's another photo for your collection stalker.

I really don't want to get into a flame war with you again but I'm curious as to what it is exactly you have that you think I'm jealous of?

Please explain to me why I should be jealous of you.

Lend me a hand here, if I'm missing out on something I want to know what it is.

This is my real life personality. Many people have said that they thought that I was gay, including a few gay men. :-\ I'll admit that I do act a little fruity, though it's not done intentionally. At 5-9 1/2 and 160 pounds, there isn't that much testosterone coursing through my veins :-\

Where's Shawn on this?  ???

It's like He dissappeared.  He used to chime in when ever He was being dragged through shit.  Well Shawn, screw these rumors and set the facts straight.  Your reputation as a promoter is at stake.

This is the question

Still suspect.  Why isn't the money in an escrow account specially for the prizes.  Isn't all IFBB shows supposed to have the prize money in place prior to granting a sanction.  Why does this show have more than one account (except for an additonal account for the prize money).  I don't understand why there is more than one account.   It is not standard business practice for an even like this for multiple accounts.  All that does is make it more confusing and harder to account for receivables and payables.  This is not how you do it.  Sorry.  All the fancy sugar coating does not hide the fact that there was no money in the account to cover the checks at the time they were cashed.  Something isn't being told.  And were there any fees any of these checks caused the payee.  Sorry, but unless their computer system completely crashed the day all these checks just s happen to come through yet other were cashed is suspect.  Did the check to the convention center bounce.  Guaranteed NO.  Did the Hummer check bounce, guaranteed NO.  It seems that just the prize money bounced.  Odd isn't it.

Keith's lost post.  How about some answers.

I think two of the checks cashed, which must mean that the money was all in different accounts. But why?

Why isn't the money in an escrow account specially for the prizes.  Isn't all IFBB shows supposed to have the prize money in place prior to granting a sanction?

Check the rule on that - I thought all the prize money had to be in place at least 6 months in advance, but maybe it was only 50%.  The general public doesn't know the specifics, because it's really only pertinent to the IFBB promoters.

That being said, if Vyotech is writing checks to prize winners, then there is a fundamental problem with the way the event financing was handled.  The sponsors should write checks to the organizers (and each pro-level show or promotional group should be incorporated), and then the prize money should be paid from the show's corporate account.  I believe Shawn & Jeff's company is Colorado Pro Show, Inc., is it not?

Maybe it works for them, but the show corp really should handle the winners' payouts.
