Why does Gustavo blow on his arms?

The BFTO 2005 came in the mail today, and I'd been watching it non-stop until I had to go to work.

The Gustavo Badell segment is by far the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. I've come tot the conclusion that Badell isnt merely cocky, he's completely in love with himself.

Between sets he would leen on a bench, stare at himself in the mirror, and blow on his biceps. WTF??

Every time he posed his arms (which was quite often) he would grunt and moan in satisfaction and breath "yeaaaaah" and "oooooo".

Things that normal people would do sacastically, he would be serious about. He's a classic meat-head through and through

"Godda love da pain!"

i think he just likes acting way overconfident. it seems like he's really, really playing it up for the camera.

ppl either love or hate badell.

I was looking at the 2006 ASC pics today- He and Vic's guts looked bad next to branch and dex.

I think he meant to show everyone that his arms felt like they were burning up.  He does a huge volume of sets so I think he's being totally honest, he really goes for that burn and the dude's full of energy it's great to watch him train.

All is well except for the professional athlete.  Athlete implies talent, talent isn't a prerequisite in bodybuilding, just drugs, lifting weights, and diet.  Nothing against Badell though, he's top in his field.

what ever the reason, he's definetly a certified gun slinger

I never wanted to give him his due because he came off as such a cocky Mexican. Nowadays though I realize he's a hardworking family man who loves God and takes care of business. His physique is pretty impressive too
