Royce vs. Hughes predictions. Let's have'm.

I'm hearing from reliable sources that Royce's stand-up training is leaving a lot to be desired. I see Hughes pounding Royce and winning by ref stoppage.

Matt goes in to establish some stand up, Royce throws some high kicks to confuse Matt, Matt tries to counter with some jabs, Royce shoots him really quick leaving no time to sprawl and then goes for the submission probably by rear choke!  Royce as promised helps Matt up off the ground then looks to fight GSP and BJ Penn!!!

I would be shocked if Royce puts Matt on his back with a takedown. Matt is a better "wrestler" and is younger.

I could see Royce pulling Matt into guard and working his Armbar/Triangle/Omo Plata game. But Royce could'nt catch Shamrock from guard in their second fight. I don't see him doing it to Hughes 10 years later.

That's why I like Matt in this fight. I just can't see Royce getting in a dominant position to work his subs.

also what the hell does the ufc do if royce somehow wins?  it's a nontitle fight and would make matt look awfully bad if he loses

Royce will clinch quickly.  Huges will take him down.  Royce will stall holding him in his guard.  Hughes will get a few shots in.  A minor cut will stop the fight because of blood on Royce's face.  It should be a really boring fight.  Hughes is a way better puncher and is also 100 times better at take downs than Royce.  That's my prediction.

I hope I'm wrong and Royce's pulls the Rocky upset but that only happens in movies.
