Nowhere in that first PM of his problem did I see any gratitude.   Just a demand for information.

It might not have really been like that in  your head meso but if you write absolutely nothing along the lines of thanks for any help then you come off as someone who just 'expects' to be answered.

The only place you can get away with demanding information is when you're putting money in the persons hand.

milos you were a great bodybuilder, and now you are a bodybuilding 'guru'  and a lot of the pros depend on you, so you know your stuff. I don't want to intefere and what not but i've followed this thread and this is what I have to say,

ok you've made the dvd, and we all know about it becasue its all over bodybuilding.com, your site, and you are advocating it all the time (which you should be!). But just because someone is asking for advice it doen't mean you have to always respond with 'Buy my DVD, that'll give you info'. Not everyone has the money, or wants to pay 30 dollars for bodybuilding information, that's why they've joined this site so they can ask those kind of questions to the pros like you....Or watch a couple of your segments on the fitshow.. Just because you've made a DVD, for money or what not, it doesn't mean you can't answer peoples questions with serious responses like you would in the DVD. Its not like your going to lose money by helping people, a lot of people do help for free, not everyone has 350 dollars to hear your advice. Infact answering questions FOR FREE with real answers might even boost sales.

Thats all i gotta say,

all the best Milos,

latrell.

meso, in the past you have mentioned that where you live, talking trash between guys will result in one being beat up or severely hurt very quickly, almost always.

maybe your way is just to be more abrasive than others are used to.

nope.  i'm saying that meso is usually very abrupt, brief, direct, and often posts with a tinge of expectancy.  Milos may have seen that as the guy being demanding.   Usually when you email anyone in any field for a favor, you say something nice, ask for their opinion/answer to the Q, then either offer a service of your own should they ever need advice, or wish them some good luck competing or whatever in the coming season.

pleasantries... that's the word, I think.  meso seems to bypass these.  Milos might have been taken off guard by this.  Plus, Milos is probably one of the top 10 men in the world in his field, and he must get a dozen questions a day.

So you are saying that milos was scared to answer meso's question in fear that meso might surpass him?

absolutely.  milos is trying to hold down those who are blessed with increible biceps and aren't afraid to let a pro know.

Morning 240! :)

Sup luke,

now that you are here I have some suggestions:

3 weeks out and coming close to the ny show, you looked great, super good. But at the show I think I know what exactly happened, you lost confidence. Through your poses and your routine, your head was down and you were shaking, and you were just casitng a shadow on yourself. Big Luke Wood, if you get your confidence up, and act like its your show, I don't there theres anyone stopping you (with the exception of a few) in a couple years.

Keep up the good work.

Thankyou! I do have an anwser and i never make excuses, just the truth. I posted on Milos's board as i was asked the same question. Even up until 1 week out if you see the pictures. I could'nt have been more happy.a week out i came down with a Urinary Tract infection!! It was extremley painful and something i have never experienced! Trying to practice my posing during the week was very hard and certain poses were just to painful to do! I was very upset as i was in the shape of my life and win, lose or draw i knew i was going to be at my best and thats all i can do. I had to use antibiotics early in the week and they seemed to help but it was still painful. Than when i arrived in NY and started drying right out, the pain was unbearable because the worst thing you can do with this type of infection is stop drinking water, but i was determine to get on that stage and i know alot of guys would have pulled out but i just could'nt do that. Back stage i was contantly rubbing my lower abdomen as it was bloated and sore. I would pump up for a few sets and sit down, pump up and sit down. I knew after Pre-juding i was out of the 10 and i was very upset, not at the fact i was getting the callouts i wanted but because i knew how great i was looking before i got sick. Trying to hold poses on stage was extremely painful and as a result my confidence went out the window and thats why i appeared how i did. Milos was trying his hardest to help me stay tight on stage but he also knew i was hurting big time. It was hard for Milos as well, because he also knew i was in my best shape ever before this.  Im not saying i would have made top 5 or even top 10, but i know i would have been in much better shape and been able to give the judges alot better look at the real Luke Wood. Well next time.
Thankyou for asking and i hope this answered your question.

Urinary Tract infections in men are much rarer than women - you should ask your doctor why this happened to you.
