people who work at the gym
« on: June 21, 2006, 04:31:14 PM »
my lame as gym, (the only 1 in town until golds opens in a few months) has 145 pound employees that stair me down during everyworkout. so last night after a solid back workout i was leaving and one of these tools kept looking at me. so i finaly walked up to him and asked him if he had a problem and if he wanted to go outside. i actualy felt like a man. well gay boy shut up and steped back and said o. no problem. i hate guys like this. i go to the gym to workout. not socialize and joke around like the rest of the fags that stand by the bench's all day

My gym has puke buckets every 5 feet, and the walls are coated with chalk.  It's built in an old missile silo, and old ammunition will often go off under your feet.  It's pretty hardcore, but I still punch someone in the throat every day, just in case.

hahaha yeah I had a few of those at the gym I used to train. Well its pretty much every gym I go to so maybe its because I am so magnificent but anyways I just give them the evil eye and they usually get the point for a couple of minutes.

Don't worry. Your 350 lb deadlifts aren't going to damage the floor.

This is the last time I am going to say this. I am 178 because I keep my bf% at 4 to5 %. If I wanted to be a lazy fuck I could easily weigh over 200 and still be an MA expert. And I know none of you meatheads actually think that some random juicer could beat up a trained fighter.

Why do you keep your bodyfat so low?
I've read that ~10% is the best level for muscular hypertrophy.
Any lower, and you body simply won't have adequate reserves.

I'm most likely wrong, just curious as to why you consider this to be a benefit
(other than looking good year-round of course  8))

No shit my gym is the same way! it is in a sewer under the 495 highway. To be a member you have to commit at least four murders. When I first showed up the manager sliced my arm with a rusty fork and made me squat 315 45 times and puke in the air and catch it and drink it! Only way to train baby. Bleeding and puking HARDCOREEE WOOO

LOL. You probably have a little definition in your abs, and automatically think you're at 5% bodyfat. Monster delusions.

I have a freaky fast metabolism, and other than the last 5 weeks that I've been laid up with a fractured ankle, I teach Tae kwon Do twice a day(sometimes only in the evening), and I am cardio freak as far as my coaching method(kids are way too fat these days), so I always run the mats with them, other than that, I just prefer the vascular, ripped look. People that don't know about bodybuilding actually think I am huge, obviously I am not.
