Gaspari never impressed me. Before you guys tear me up I am not saying he was not a great bodybuilder. I just never looked at him and said wow. His arms always looked tiny. That killed it imo.

Great condition tho. To his credit he did a hell of alot with what he was given!

I dug up Babe Ruth last year, and shit, I don't think he could even hit a ball in his condition. Then I pissed on him and buried him upside down.

Are you Barry Bonds? ;)

I met Rich Gaspari last year and that guy is 12 inches broad, the length of a ruler, Discuss? :-*

Rich looks shredded in that picture. How does his best condition stack up with the best conditioned pros of today?

Frank had broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He was very muscular. He just didn't have a lot of size.

Wowl kilojoule.. I guess coming from a mass monster like you, the legendary Rich Gaspari might seem narrow? I mean, look at the massive width you have!

He brought the ruler because the dildo was already in use by him.

Wow, from the looks of his contest placings, he really fell off.  Can someone post a side by side of him at the beginning and end of his career?

1   Lee Haney

2   Albert Beckles

3   Rich Gaspari

4   Mohamed Makkawy

5   Mike Christian

6   Berry DeMey

Not to mention he placed in the top five at the Olympia six times, placing second to Lee Haney three times.

FAR FROM SUCKING!

That is one of the most impressive photos of Rich I've seen...man he took BB to another level with his incredible condition.

Yeah, Rich was narrow realtively speaking but it didn't hold him back at all.  You just gotta work with what you got.  Arnold, no matter what anyone says< true clavicular width wasn't impressive yet look at his record, yates the same thing...realtively speaking yates' skeletal structure wasn't great but in my opinion he is the densist BB ever to walk on stage...the best would have to go to Ronnie for his separation, but Dorian brought something new to the table.  I personally never had the big swollen Wheeler like muscles of lots of my black fellow competitors nor do I have a great skeletal structure yet I've beaten many many guys because of my density, balance and separation condition.  You just gotta bring something to the table if ya wanna be good enough to win.  Richie obviously did that.

is that seriously a pix of the starter of this thread????   Man, this is why the net is a fuc---- JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  These fu---- jokes make these comments then they look like that!!!!!!!!!!!!  Guy, instead of pointing out Rich's weakness you should be focussing on his strengths and figuring out how in the world you can build muscle.  You should be starting threads like, "How do I eat to get bigger" or "can some one with some legit knowlege or experience design a muscle building routine for me, PLEASE".  It's always the fu----- critics that NEVER even came close to the real deal.

LMFAO at he truly sucked as a bodybuilder. he has count them seven more Pro wins than Shawn Ray and while he wasn't asethetic and Ray has a more pleasing phsyique those numbers contradict your dumb claim.

give me a break, he had great conditioning and calves, but honestly hes the worst top-3 finisher ever by far. he flat out did not have the structure. im sure hes a good guy, and real strong and all that, but put him next to the best of the best and he gets owned. almost as overrated as that nerd lebrada

When was Rich narrow, before he started training, or 15 years after he retired?

Only thing narrow is the mind of the individual bashing one of the best pros ever.
