Trends show the US society is becoming LESS free.   Your theories are grand, but in practice, technology is ensuring you will be less free each day.  Good and bad, I guess.  You're trading liberty for safety (was it jefferson or ben franklin that said that those who do, deserve neither?), but given the state of technology, there is nothing that can be done about it.

Going after 240 has very limited potential for entertainment, because he usually doesn't melt down. Sure, if someone can pull a MattT or something I'd get on board, but short of that 240-bashing gets boring after about 5 minutes.

Actually, the "government kicking out the illegals" would be an example of government intervention in free economic activity between two consenting parties. In other words, right or wrong, the government action would be a reduction of and restriction on freedom.

ummmm    im going to say no on this one.    a governments one objective is to keep its citizens safe, and to protect their rights.  having weak borders and illegal immigrants hurts national security. if they were u.s. citizens you would be right...it would be government intervention and a stab at economic rights. but last time i checked......the constitution says nothing about the right to " have as many workers on hand as you need to farm your field at a cheap cost"
