melvin anthony must win after ronnie colemans reign or bodybuilding will die. he is the only bb that closely meets bb standards and looks good enough to be marketed main stream.

I know what you mean.  Since bodybuilding has relied on being a mainstream sport for the past 50 years, there is NO WAY it can survive as a cult sport and...

there is no way that melvin anthony will ever win the o....i doubt he will ever even make the top 5.....there are to many bodybuilders out there that are better than him.

And this prediction about Cutler is based on what?

Labrada & Ray were runners up twice; Gaspari & Wheeler did it three times; and Culter & Levrone have been #2 on four occassions each.

We don't know who's going to be the next Mr. Olympia. Remember that Coleman place 9th the year before he won it all and he placed "16th" in his first Mr. Olympia. It's quite possible that someone could leapfrog over all the top contenders and end up with the Sandow in hand.

I understand your sentiment. The problem is that bodybuilders much smaller that Melvin Anthony have been deemed "too big" and "gross" by Joe Public. You could show them a pic of Frank Zane in his prime (which was about 40 lbs. lighter than Anthony), and you'd likely get a similar reaction.

To put things in perspecitive, with regards to how the average Joe view a bodybuilder, despite all the fitness gizmos that hits the airwaves with merciless zeal, the only Mr. Olympia winner I've ever seen that endorsed one is Frank Zane (he's on the informercials for Torso Trak, I believe). And even then, Zane is weeeeeeeeeelllll past his Sandow-winning prime, actually noted more for his Universe wins than his Olympia ones.

if he is too small to be mr olympia whats wrong with that. just because sum 1 is big doesnt mean he should be king shit in bodybuilding.

then why in gods name will anyone be a bb if its a cult sport and makes little to no money. bb is not a poor mans sport like soccer were all you need is ball to train and play. anyone that wants to be a bb gotta have money, and no dont say gay for pay because gay people prefer little filipino boyz
