Congratulations Guy!!  8)

Got a question for you...

As an Aussie what do you expect to gain professionally and personally in the short term by being a US citizen opposed to an Aussie?

There are so many opportunities here. I am based in Los Angeles and have been studying acting since my retirement from Bodybuilding and doing movie fighting. In LA especially there are some many things going on and so many people to meet. I have meet so many people at Gold's from Mickey Rourke, Kobe Bryant, Jean Claude Van Damme, Hose Consecu, various heavyweight champions of the world in Boxing and a slew of Mixed martial artists. I am like a kid in a candy store still just enjoying the life I am able to live. I am very proud that my wife and Daughter have the opportunity to be here and that makes me proud knowing the sacrifices I made a long the way have been worth while. That was a great question. Thanks Buddy!

P.S I did a National commerical and was on screen for 1 second and I had at least 50 peole recognioze me from that. I was posing with a phone so my acting training came in there LOL.

Goodluck Guy, you came across like a good bloke on PBBW the other week. Hopefully somewhere down the track you can get some work in Aussie as you know the Superman movie was filmed in NSW and Foxstudios did alot of the Starwars stuff in Foxstudios (Sydney). Its great to see Aussies making it O.S.

Hey Mate!

Thank you! I am looking forward to coming back home and seeing my friends and family. I am going to start going out for auditions within the next couple of months. I am getting new head shots and working filing some monologues. My acting coach coaches classes for Robert De Niro in New York so I always hear some cool stories about him. You see the Rock, Hulk Hogan, Dennis Hopper and whole lot more. I get on well with James Cann. He is a really cool guy and trains like a mad man. Once again your kind words mean a lot. All the best for you back home. Take care

Hey Mate!

Thank you, I was unable to read or write at 13. I was a good athlete during school so no one took to much notice as I was always represnting at one sort or another. I also attended 13 different schools due to being passed around my family like a football. I had to do an entrance exam for a sports scholarship and they were a little surprised that I could not read or write. I was banned from all sports by the education department for 6 months and sent to SPECIAL learning school. The other kids were between 8- 11 and I was honesty the stupidest kid there. However, I kicked everyones ass at lunchtime playing Rugby LOL. It was a good experience as I learnt to read and write and was allowed to go back to school and once again participate in sports. I am eternally grateful as I read at least 1 book a week now. Hope all is well for you. Take care

Thanks Mate! I have learnt so much from reading various books from self help, Biographies, Motivational books, physiology you name it!. I actually had one of my Mates from Australia send me over 50 books I had already read back home which were in storage as I wanted to re read them. It's great as my little girl loves to read which is a real blessing. I read her Winnie the Pooh and the Cat in the hat as they are her favorites at present. All the best to you Buddy!

Guy,

Since you're such an avid reader, I thought I'd recommend a few books to you:

Fiction
Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter
Swan Song by Robert McCammon
Personal Injuries by Scott Turow

Non-Fiction
Fatal Subtraction by Pierce O'Donnell
Smart Negotiating by James Freund
Flex Ability by Flex Wheeler

There you go! Oh, and just kidding about Flex Ability.

Hey Mate!

Thank you for that, unfortunately I did read Flex ability LOL. I am not into fiction to much but I do enjoy John Grisham and I really Enjoyed True Crime as well which became a movie. The Negotiating and Fatal Subtraction sound interesting. I will be sure to check them out. Right now I am reading The Dark Side of the Game by Tim Green of the NFL and Just finished reading Wayne Gretzky's Autobiography which was pretty good. He was the worst at the stamina and strength tests each year yet he dominated so well. One of my favorites is Million Dollar Habits by Robert J. Ringer. I also really enjoyed Romo by Bill Romanoski. It was amazing the lengths he went to treat his body and be the best he can be. I think I must be one of Amazon. com's best customers. One month I spent over $400 on books. The wife made me aware of that one LOL. Once again thanks for taking the time to fill me in on those. Take care
