OldSchool Flip is correct. Treating the abs like any other muscle group, with regards to reps (8-12) and sets (2-3), produces muscular size. With heavy development you can put that nickle (quarter better) between the ridges of the abs. If anyone is doing endless set after set of high rep ab work, than chances are the abs will be outlined but never as impressive when fully developed. Will the waist measurement become larger? Sometime and sometimes not. If an inch is added, than that should be pure muscle. A washboard set of abs is going to set you apart from most of the other BB'ers. When the diet is controlled, with less bodyfat percentage, than everything else will fall into place for a shock & awe ab development. Good Luck.
