Try sucking in a vacuum for 30 seconds or holding poses at full force for 15 seconds.. or walking to burn fat or weightlifting to build muscle. You will find that Skill has a lot to do with bodybuilding.

The act of lifting weights is a sport No one is saying that flexing your muscles is a sport, although even that can meet the definition of "sport" but few would argue that.

Why would you need to hold it at full force??? Muscles can only hold so much blood. moving the muscle will increase bloodflow far better than a static hold.

Weight lifting is a sport. Which is part of bodybuilding.

You want to make your muscles bulge and as full as possible so that is a good way to make that happen with added striations on top of that.
