How much sust could I take without it showing in a drug test?

Oh battles, no. I didn't make the Seal teams and was on ships for my 4 year enlistment so no battles for me. I still like the idea of a wet suit and a gun as normal work attire.

I have seen alot of the world (most of europe, Isreal, Africa, UK and almost all the islands in the Carrabean) Ths training for seals was all endurance and for a heavier guy it is nearly impossible to keep going. Being on a ship is like working at a ship yard while you are floating in the ocean, you constantly do maintainence to ship board machinery, constantly run drills (fire drills, General quaters drills all boring) and you constantly wish you were in port having fun away from the ship.

Knowing what I know now, hell yes they could have been. I could have bought so much juice in places like Isreal, Turkey and Greece. But at that time I was a natural weightlifter and thought that steroids where wrong thing to do. How fucking stupid was I?

Greece was by far alot kinder to me in the chick department than any other country I was in. Met a beautiful woman from Holland that was on vacation there the same time we were in port. It was fun. Wish I kept in contact with her but I was young, dumb and full of man mayo.

As for Born on the 4th July, I don't care. I'm doing this for the money. I need to get a career going and the money is good, the pension after only 12 years sounds good, the work sounds fun. That's all. Just like in Black Hawk Down (I've seen all the movies) after the first bullet flies past my head, I won't give a fuck. I'll be shooting back.

For people interested in politics, you need to see Jarhead and read what Jake Gyllenhaal says about the situation. Regardless of what I'll be doing, I know that the men I'll be fighting with are what counts. I have a few friends in the forces. All of them are good, decent men, of much higher calibre than the average piece of shit you see walking the streets in my area. I want to be part of that prestige that comes with the lifestyle.

Best of luck to you bro. The military isn't a bad choice for young people that need a little direction, college money or excitement. I did alot of maturing in the service and though it wasn't always fun it was better than what I had going on at the time.

Thanks mate. I've always liked the Army, and have been swayed a bit by other people as what to do in life, but now I'm about to finish Uni, I don't wanna do what I originally set out to do, so I'm applying for the Army. I don't have my heart set on it though, as I've had a knee reconstruction and have a plate in my ankle too (sports injuries) so I'll just have to see what happens.

hey blaster just a bit of info I see your all motivated and that is awsome just be prepared for many months of sheer bordom (possible if you end up in a hot zone) followed by moments of absolute panic, fear, and the HOLY SHIT factor  everyday is not a gunfight. but your officers and SNCO's and NCO will instill it in you that it is. To go back to the drug testing 5 main drug properities are tested for  all recrecation drugs, THC, COKE, UPPERS, DOWNERS,heroin,  and now have established to test for XTC ... AAS is not test for unless the command has reasonable suspicion that your on gear If you end up in a decent unit that will turn their heads than your good to go I highly recommend not jaw jacking about it to anyone until you know who will and will not drop dimes keep a low ass profile be the guy in the middle of formations  not out front avoid the tight ass under armor shirts if your jacked up, wear em a little loose better to not raise eyebrows in your direction if at all possible a lot of guys in my old unit pushed gear we just kept it to unmentionable level  everyone will have a thought maybe?? maybe not when asked just give the old LOTS OF CREATINE AND PROTEIN SIR" response other than that enjoy many years being a big mofo in a tree suit

I'm going for officer entry so hopefully I won't get too bored and I'll always have something to do, and I won't have to worry about recreational drugs...I don't touch that shit. Used to, but then I woke up to myself. I don't even drink anymore.

This isn't the US Army I'm trying for though, so I'm still a little sceptical when it comes to the drug tests. As I said, I have heard on the news of a few guys who got the ass for taking steroids.
