For -  the IFBB have had a monopoly on top level bodybuilding for too long. Under them the sport is dying slowly but surely. Competition in the form of PDI can only raise the bar and hopefully get bodybuilding back on track.

for -i don't see why any competition would be a bad thing some of the physiques have gotten out of hand

I just hope the PDI isn't another WBF (Vince McMahon's attempt to create a bodybuilding federation of his own which turned out to be a strip tease show).

For, but not to use 240's Wal-Mart example, but a strip club example.  Meat must compete against meat for filet mignon to emerge juicetorious.
