I try and gain 7-10 pounds of muscle a YEAR.........and that doesnt even include trying to drop 5% bodyfat at the same time which when I cut I cut 1-2 pounds a week doing it healthy. You can do it bro, but just be patient and do it the right way. I would say 6 months at least myself......but you may be more of a easygainer than me. Just all depends....lots of variables. Program, diet, intesity, supplements.......you. Just be patient and keep at it.
