A bolt-action version is much better for sniping or sharp shooting than a semi-automatic. Since this rifle is exclusively long range why isn't it bolt-action only? Do they have a bolt-action version?

they do have bolt action but with the size of the weapon and the distance used it's more effecient to do it semi auto, plus at that distance you can generally hit multiple targets at a higher rate since the throw (pull back of the bolt) is larger and would almost cause you to lose eye relief of the scope to change rounds as opposed to a M40 marine corp sniper rifle.

i saw that on futureweapons the other day.  it was cool
