Time for a monster conspiracy theory
« on: August 27, 2006, 11:24:33 PM »
Given the fact that the IFBB are actively encouraging lackeys to post PDI hate and that the PDI are doing the same here could it be that getbig and the boards in general are not just dictating aspects of bodybuilding but judges decisions aswell?

Is Kamali taking the hit because getbig says it wants him to?  Lets face it.. to many here the fact that Kamali copped an 11th is a plus for the IFBB judging and would applaud it.

Will Kamali switch to the PDI if he continues to be forsaken in comps?  Almost definitely if it wasn't the case that the PDI is falling apart  :-\

Judges go largely based on name recognition.  Us dissing King all the time got them to realize he really isn't that high of a caliber pro - definitely not top six material at a second tier show anyway.
It just goes to show again how much power and influence us "bucketooth jackasses who have no lives and live in mommys basement and never even been to a gym" have in the world of BB/FIT/FIG.

We can influence placings, we cause PROs to meltdown and lead them on a road to self destruction and cause magazine owners to remind their staff not to describe negroe bodybuilders 'mountains of ebony muscle'. Our presence is felt and heard in this industry.

I honestly believe The King in Nj would be an upper 2nd tier pro or maybe even a top tier pro if it wasnt for GETBIG. I firmly believe...we caused him into fall into a pool of envy, embarrassment, and anger so intense...he decided to up all doseages to the point of irreversible palumboism and poor contest placings.

well, he was never that good to begin with, everything was fcuking hype. Gone were the days of TITUS VS. KAMALI. None of these clowns ever lived up to the Hype. Getbig Might have and I SAID MIGHT HAVE influence his placings, but we're nobody and I doubt his shittty placings has anything to do with US. Unless, all the judges are GETBIGGERS..LOL ;D

everyone reads getbig, from judges to sponsors to athletes and their crews.

when a guy hears for a year straight how bad his arms are, and he ups the dosage too much too fast, his belly swells and his receptors become shot.  classic palumboism.

King on getbig was before my time, but it does seem like he had a really good physique, and after spending time here, he did make substantial changes to his 'regime' and ended up hurting his look, big time...  So yes, perhaps getbig did have an influence.

I'm kind of saying the same thing with Toney Freeman being a SQUAD endorsed athlete. All silliness aside,  I have no doubt Toney has benefitted from  the countless positive threads about him. If people read something enough times (even judges) they start to believe it.

Nice conspiracy theory but no...

From about six of us in the photographers / journalist section, most of us pretty much had it close to what was the results.

Consensus that it was between Johnnie Jackson, Toney Freeman and Quincy Taylor. Darrem Charles looked off in the prejudging, but much more sharper at night, and his posing routine wasnt really one (I think they didnt use the right music that he worked with).

We had King in 9th - 10th in the morning at prejudging. And it was tough seeing that, as I like King.

But the judges really try hard to make sure the best person wins, and so on, because they know that there is a legion of fans, journalists and photographers right behind them critiquing them.

2 words.  THE SQUAD.

We "chose" Mr. Freeman.  Simple as that.  Next question?

I agree, it's just that we in THE SQUAD recognized it awhile back.  some people are just slower than others.

This is a good thread and its got me thinking. I am starting to believe we at GETBIG are quickly becomming the next 'powers that be' in this industry.

We can pick and choose what PRO will do well and place well. We hold their lives/careers at our fingertips to keyboards. We give out encourgements...and give out positive critique and props and kind words...what happens that PRO takes it well...keeps doing what he is doing, and stays in a positive frame of mind and succeeds...

On the other hand we have the other end of the spectrum as we seen with the King in NJ.

240 and I already hypothesized the theory of 'post partum OWNING' or 'Post traumatic owning disorder' and it all stems from GETBIG.

I am not a SQUAD member for a BlockHead rides alone...but I cant help but to wonder if a secret society is forming and if we, again...are becoming the REAL 'powers that be'. If The Squad gave Freeman the nod to move up in ranks...then I almost have to believe The Squad was a major factor in his success.

Good post BlockHead.  It's funny how people actually think that somehow judges, Weiders, etc... are running bodybuilding when in reality it's us.  You all know who we are, no need to mention names.  I'm sure sarcasm and Mars would consider you a strong associate of us, along with 240, Bast, TA and many others.

GetBig members have as much influence on Pro Bodybuilding as monkeys throwing feces have on running a zoo.

I concur. I would consider myself as an independent consultant and ally to the names you just mentioned.

It is right in our faces...as much as Ron tires to tell us different...I like to believe we are all sharp enough to see the writing on the wall...lets look at a few facts here...

240 already caused a King in NJ to meltdown so ferosciously that he went on a path of self destruction and threw his career out the window and now that particular King is threatening lawsuits, litigation and is in jeapordy of losing his contract(s), wife and everything els that comes with putting all eggs in one basket to have that basket fall to pieces...

The Squad: As Toney Freeman has always been a good BB...it just so happens The Squad endorsed him...approved him...and allowed him and his name to be 'under protection' here and what happens...he wins his first PRO show. That wasnt coincidence! The industry knows we dont play games here and knows that we pretty much reflect the unsilent majority...except for Mayhem. Over on Mayhem if That King won...all you'd see over there is "Good Job, Kind...Good Luck Bro...Congrats, King...Good judging everyone...Way to Go!"

TheBlockHead: Made it clear that if Steve Blechman ever tries to pull a stunt where he has his writers describe every single negore in his magazines as an 'ebony mountain of muscle' and embarrass us all...that he will rapidly lose suscribers and popularity...for he knows the power we here at GETBIG have on his sales and reputation. I will be tmy life...that we will NEVER ever see those written words ever again in his pages.

You see? These are facts that cant be disputed...we might come to see a day where GETBIG will be the final say on everything that goes on in the BB/FIT/FIG industry.

Back to the point here...it is obvious that GETBIG and the secret society known as The Squad which is almost as powerful and influential as freemasons and The Illumanati...will control and dictate what goes on in this industry with our effects on contest placings, competitors feelings and egos...judges, magazine owners and the supplement buisness.

It's true, I am afraid.

We staged a false-flag attack this week with the Kamali showing.  He believed he could openly insult and threaten getbig members with litigation.
