I could've opted to compete in the Olympia...I chose to honor my contract to MC the event, as I agreed to 3 months before the Masters.

I'm not knocking on Ronnie, Jay, Dexter, etc door...at best, I believe I could be competitive for the 9-15 crew...nice and all, but honestly...I'll make more money hosting, give myself and my companies more exposure, use my talents to better the show (hopefully) and continue to make the transition from in front of the camera, to behind.

I'm not interested in pushing the envelope to gain a few placings in the Olympia...don't need the money, don't need th exposure, in the muscle mags, have contracts,etc... pretty much all the reasons guys try to reach that level, I've been fortunate to achieve.

There is more to being a professional BB than just competing.

I think you would be a very good friend to Kamali if you taught him these things and your common sense understanding of basic economics and professionalism than anything else.

i think king MIGHT be too far gone to benefit from chicks expertise(i hope this isnt the case).but i think a lot of other up and coming bodybuilders could definitely benefit from his advice like staying away from slin and things like that,and show them that they dont need that stuff to look good and they would look better without it.

Once again...thread goes to s##t.  Where will he fall?  Agree with GH15 he has to come down in size.  Looks much better.  Yates' arms sucked, and most of the guys have BS for calves.  If he were to place 4th...would he grab a spot at the O...if guys ahead of him have already qualified?

He is on the right track.  If he doesnt make the O...he should work on a 225-230 physique over the next 12 mths.

Tha'ts my point, he is 34 y/o and in the prime of his life, why waste it pursuing small time $$$ when he could go into the WWE and make it big time with an Iranian type story line like they did with Hulk Hogan vs. Iron Sheik?
